The Process.

Contact Me -  This is a small business, so when you call you will speak directly to me, and I will be able to answer any and all questions you may have. After we've gotten to know each other a little bit, we'll go over my product and pricing lists. If you are ready to book a photoshoot, we'll schedule a date and time. If not, that's alright! Take some time to think about it, however please be aware that I cannot hold a specific date and time until I receive the session fee. Also, just because this comes first doesn't mean that this has to be the only time we speak! I usually will have clients texting (or calling/emailing if that works better) me up until the very last second, and I love that! It's important for you to have a say in what this session looks like and to get all of your questions answered! You can even just text me cute snapshots of your dog(s) in the days leading up to the photoshoot if you'd like!

Receive your password to the NYC Pet Photography client area -  Welcome to the NYC Pet Photography family!  After we've spoken either on the phone or in person and I've received your session fee I'm going to send you the password to access the NYC Pet Photography client area.  In the client area you will find my product and pricing guide, as well a model release (yes, dogs need those too!), and any important questions that will help me get to know you and your dog(s) before we finally meet for the photoshoot.

Photography Session - This is one of the best parts! Photoshoots usually last for one hour. However they can be shorter or longer depending on your dog's personality, the number of dogs you have, or any other number of things. Every photoshoot is different, but the main thing that they all have in common is that you and your dog(s) will be relaxed and will be having fun while laughing at me crawling on the floor and making weird sounds to get the best pictures of your pet(s) as possible. I will use my experience to coax out your dogs' natural personality, and you can bet that they will have so much fun that they will sleep like a rock afterward.

The reveal - This is going to be the hardest part of the process for you because now you have to wait, but don't worry, because you will be so happy that you did. 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot I'm going to be contacting you to set up your ordering session where you will get a chance to look at all of the photos and get blown away by how adorable your dog is (as if you didn't already know!), as well as decide on which products you would like to order.

The delivery - This is what you've been waiting for. If you haven't already decided on where to hang your art, you should probably start thinking about that, because this is the part where you receive the amazing products that you ordered! You will be blown away by how phenomenal your dog looks on our products, but don't let all of that adorableness go to their head. They may start looking for cameras everywhere they go or practice posing with their friends!

Show all of your friends and family that your pet is famous - Your dog will have a special blog post on the NYC Pet Photography blog and a special feature on all of our social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr).  Make sure that you tag yourself and share your pictures. Of course, I always appreciate referrals to friends and family who love their dogs as much as you do, and everybody who refers or is referred to me will receive a special gift.
