My dog is wild! Will you be able to handle them?
Without a doubt. I've worked with some very energetic dogs before, and while it may be a challenge, we always get the shot we need.
My dog has to stay on a leash. What does that mean for our photos?
Don't worry! What you don't see is that most of my models are on a leash, but I can just remove that in photoshop.
Do you charge extra for more than one dog?
No, I don't! As long as all of the dogs are from the same home there is no limit.
Where do the photoshoots take place?
I shoot on location, which means that we have a full run of the city! I often find that the best place is your dog's favorite park.
What time of the day/week would my session be?
Photography sessions usually take place in the evenings around sunset. If that doesn't work for you, we can find another time during our Pre-Session Consultation.
I don't have a dog, but will you photograph my cat/bird/snake/etc?
I am thrilled to photograph any animal! I am a PET photographer, after all. The only thing to note is that I am no longer doing indoor photoshoots due to COVID, so while I would be thrilled to photograph your pet we are unfortunately limited to sessions that take place outdoors.
What kind of equipment do you use, and what experience do you have?
I use a Nikon z7, and my 2 main lenses are my 70-200mm f/2.8 and my 24-70mm f/2.8. Before I started photographing animals I worked in portraits, concert photography, and real estate photography, and my experiences with posing and lighting from doing portraits and real estate combined with my experience from photographing fast-moving subjects in concerts has prepared me well for the broad range of experiences that can occur while photographing pets! Do you offer digital files?
I do! That being said, my specialty is wall art, and my goal is not to give you a Facebook album that you're going to forget about in a few months. When you work with me you will receive a work of art that will last a lifetime. Every time you walk into the room and see it you will be reminded of the amazing times you've had with your dog over the years.
Is my pet going to want to go on a worldwide modeling tour after this photoshoot?
Almost definitely. At the very least they're going to want you to contact Calvin Klein about a billboard in Times Square.
